Global CFO Network x IMD: Asking art of asking smarter questions
A two-day interactive workshop with Professor Arnaud Chevallier, IMD Business School
In today’s dynamic business environment, asking the right questions can mean the difference between success and stagnation. Unlike fields such as law or medicine, where professionals receive extensive training, business leaders often face complex decisions without a structured approach to inquiry. In collaboration with IMD Business School, we’re delighted to give Global CFO Network members the opportunity to join a two-day workshop with Strategy Professor Arnaud Chevallier, learning how to formul;ate and ask better and more impactful questions. Arnaud is co-creator of the “Leader’s Question Mix”, a cutting-edge tool that helps you evaluate your current question mix, refine your inquiry strategies, and enhance your decision-making process. It not only provides a practical framework for asking the five essential types of questions (investigative, speculative, productive, interpretive, and subjective), but it also enhances the effectiveness of your inquiries with tailored guidance and expert insights. Members can expect a highly interactive and practical workshop that will leave them better equipped as leaders to use questions to guide their teams. Arnaud helps executives solve complex problems and make better decisions under uncertainty. His research, teaching and consulting draw on empirical findings from diverse disciplines to provide concrete tools that prepare executives to manage the strategic challenges they face in the global marketplace. He is Co-Director of IMD’s Complex Problem-Solving Program, and the author of two books: Strategic Thinking in Complex Problem Solving, and Solvable: A Simple Solution to Complex Problem.
This event will be hosted at IMD’s Asia Campus and will include meals.
